Overall the blindfolded rope square was quite stressful. My Main issue was that the instructions at the beginning were unclear and changed within a minute of the activity starting. This led to confusion and establishing communication at was difficult. Since I had done the activity before, I was muted. This put me at the will of my teammates and had to listen for the first half of the exercise.

This set the tone of the activity for me and even when I was permitted to communicate, I found it hard to get a word in because some people felt they had established leadership and were barking orders. I decided to listen as carefully as possible and wait for the right time to speak up. The person who was number 27 gave me this chance after she took control of the situation and I was able to align my row by communicating with the two ends, as I was in the middle.

Shortly after this, we opened our eyes and we were lined up. This was quite rewarding, because my listening to the two groups paid off!
