One of the key strengths of a team and a work completed with success by the members performing as a team is the recognition of a single leader with the best idea. If there is a single idea being executed once a leader gets his point across, then the time is spent only on realizing if the end result is success or a failure. The biggest fall through in our efforts during last week's assignment is that there were multiple ideas from multiple leaders that were being executed simultaneously. Thus the length in reaching the ultimate goal. As a person who was doing the task for the first time, I did feel the task assignment was accurate however since the task assignment did not include a specific deadline to reaching the end results, I do believe we were successful in carrying out the task.
Although we had experienced team members amongst us, not using their knowledge in terms of the task execution was a draw back in achieving the task later than otherwise.
Commenting on Joi and Adam's post: They were among the experienced candidates playing the game and as observed by them and me in the last point of my blog, it was a drawback that their expertise was not sought after to complete the task earlier than we did.
